Zina married8 (1) Ruth Bowdish daughter of Gideon Bowdish and Eleanor about 1810. Ruth was born about 1770 in New Bedford, RI. She died in Jun 1820 in Galen, Wayne County, NY. Zina married9 (2) Pathania Bonnell daughter of Nathaniel Bonnell in 1820 in Junius, Seneca County, NY. Pathania was born about 1792. She died on 30 Aug 1870 in South Dansville, Steuben County, NY.

James TRIPP inherited land from his father located on Sanford’s Ridge, just outside present day Glens Fall, Washington County, New York not far from the Friends Meeting House. He built a frame house, unfinished in 1785/1790. The house exists today. The older part is from 1785/1790. The newer part, the "L" addition, was built much later and brick siding was added in 1855. Across the road lived his brother Jonathan, who also inherited. James TRIPP sold his farm in 1800 for $750 to a Dr. Stower.
