This line of the Beasley family probably emigrated from Ireland or England and settled eventually in Albemarle County Virginia. Moving along the Piedmont region, the Beasley family resided in North Carolina and South Carolina before removing to Coosa County Alabama between 1835 and 1840. They were amongst the early inhabitants of Coosa County in the Mt Olive area.
